Our D.Y.C 2012 ( a poem).

( Dedicated to all Port-Harcourt District Youths)

Like a towering vessel aloft the Atlantic
Comes our rejuvenated DYC
Glowing like the Eastern sun over PH metropolis.

Roundabout me, the December trees sashay gallantly
And cymbals issue the sanctity of vessels
Accompanied with a diminished ninth on the piano.

Melodies emerge like cascades ofspring water.
Surely a new dawn is here;
A dispensation rooted in the divine vine spoken of in our testament.

I have prayed for this rising. You and I have on bended knees
Called on the father's ambience
To grace this conference,

This gathering of strengths, of surge of
Primal veins, of the Cross
Where oil graciously springs forth.
